Dave Pearson

Dave has over 20 years of experience in solid form and formulation science. He is a highly experienced solid-form subject matter expert with extensive experience at the interface of medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, DMPK, and pharmacology. In his role, he helps clients to take their molecules rapidly from lab to clinic by understanding, controlling, and improving their solid-state properties – such as crystallinity, stability, and dissolution profiles – and delivers a process that is transferred to cGMP production. Interweaved is the formulation of these molecules – whether to overcome nonlinear PK profiles, avoid first-pass metabolism, develop safer formulations, or design FIH at a faster and more cost-effective design, make, and test cycle than a GMP CDMO.

Throughout his career, Dave has worked on a number of early discovery and later-stage development programs, helping to deliver molecules to the clinic with enhanced performance and reduced risk. He was instrumental in the delivery of over ten molecules to market and is also experienced in leading teams that have delivered double this figure.
