Eimear Flanagan

Eimear Flanagan currently serves as a Senior Scientist at Sygnature Discovery, a position held since February 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Scientist at Redx Pharma from October 2021 to October 2024, and as a Scientist focusing on oncology biology. Eimear completed a PhD at the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute under Dr. Santiago Zelenay, specializing in cancer inflammation and immunity, from September 2016 to October 2021. Earlier academic endeavors included an undergraduate final year project at UCD Conway Institute and a summer research internship within Professor Gerry Wilson's Rheumatology group. Eimear holds a Biomedical Health and Life Sciences degree from University College Dublin, completed in 2016, and graduated from St. Mary's Secondary School in Ballina, Co. Mayo, in 2012.
