Matthew Conroy

Matthew Conroy has extensive work experience in the field of medicinal chemistry. Matthew has been working at Sygnature Discovery since 2018, where they started as a Senior Scientist and later became a Lead Scientist in the Chemistry department. In these roles, Matthew is responsible for leading and organizing team performance, contributing to project strategy, and conducting synthetic research and development. Matthew also acts as a mentor to junior team members and demonstrates a good understanding of project issues and data. Prior to joining Sygnature Discovery, Matthew worked at Evotec from 2013 to 2018, where they contributed to various projects and gained exposure to different types of chemistry.

Matthew Conroy completed their education with a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Altwood Church of England School from 2007 to 2009, where they completed GCE Advanced Level in Chemistry, Mathematics, Accounting, and Critical Thinking. In their earlier years, Matthew studied at Altwood Church of England School from 2005 to 2007, completing their General Certificate of Secondary Education with excellent grades in various subjects. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification in Medicinal Chemistry: The Molecular Basis of Drug Discovery from Davidson College in 2016.
