Iain Anderson, CFA

Iain Anderson, CFA has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Iain currently serves as the Head of Investments at Sygnia Asset Management, where they are responsible for managing over R300bn in retirement savings for South African investors. Iain leads a team of 20 investment professionals and focuses on providing innovative and cost-effective investment products. Prior to this role, Iain worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at African Harvest Ltd. from 2003 to 2005. Iain was also a Senior Portfolio Manager at Franklin Templeton NIB Asset Management from 2000 to 2003, where they managed unit trusts and pension fund portfolios. Additionally, Iain worked at Greenwich Asset Management from 1998 to 2000 as the Head of Research, overseeing the development of retirement strategies and managing balanced portfolios and equity unit trusts.

Iain Anderson, CFA completed their Bachelor of Mathematics (hons) degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Waterloo from 1987 to 1992.
