Magda Wierzycka

Magda Wierzycka has a strong background in investment management and has held several high-level positions throughout their career. Magda is currently a General Partner at Braavos Investment Advisers since October 2019. Prior to this, Magda served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sygnia Asset Management starting in November 2006. Before their time at Sygnia, they were the CEO of African Harvest Group from October 2003 to October 2006. Magda's career began at Coronation Fund Managers in October 1996, where they held the role of Director and Head of Institutional Business until March 2003.

Magda Wierzycka began their education at Pretoria High School for Girls, where they attended from 1982 to 1987. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Cape Town in 1988. Magda obtained a BBusSc (Actuarial Science) degree along with an FFA qualification from the university, completing their studies in 1993.
