Palesa Mabitsela

Palesa Mabitsela's work experience includes roles at various companies. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Unit Trust/Offshore Administrator at Stanlib through Afrizan Personnel until March 2017. From March 2017 to December 2017, they served as a Business Support Specialist for the Legal, Risk, and Compliance Executive at STANLIB. In 2018, Palesa worked as a Legal and Compliance Administrator at STANLIB from January to September, and then as a Compliance Administrator (compliance officer under supervision) at Econorisk (Pty) Ltd from October 2018 to August 2022. Since September 2022, they have been working as a Risk and Compliance Assistant at Sygnia Asset Management. Additionally, Palesa has experience as a Social Media/Event Manager at LadyBug Foundation since July 2018.

Palesa Mabitsela has a diverse education history spanning various institutions and fields of study. Palesa began their education at Summit College where they completed their high school education from 2003 to 2007.

In 2008, Palesa enrolled at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Law. Palesa successfully completed this degree in 2014.

Continuing their education, Palesa attended the University of Johannesburg in 2015 and obtained a Higher Certificate in Business Management, specializing in Risk Management.

The following year, in 2016, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Compliance (Certificate) at the University of Johannesburg, specifically studying Compliance Management.

In 2019, Palesa enrolled at the University of South Africa to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Palesa obtained a certification in Regulatory Examination (RE 1) from the Moonstone Business School of Excellence in July 2019.
