Michael F. Montoya

Michael is the Chief Information Security Officer for Equinix responsible for leading its global cybersecurity, compliance, and risk programs. Michael oversees Equinix's security across product development, Operations, IT, compliance, and business resilience teams. Michael has extensive experience in enterprise IT support and has held several executive roles with Microsoft, Fireeye and EMC. He also has experience overseeing global cybersecurity programs and advising large enterprises, governments and regulators across global markets. Michael has dual degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of New Me.
