Elena Rábano Neila

Front-end developer at Sygris

Elena Rábano Neila has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Elena started their career in 2013 as an Intern at ASOCIACIÓN KRECER, where they assisted children at risk of social exclusion and coordinated socio-educational projects. In 2015, Elena worked as a Waitress at Grupo Vips, where they welcomed guests, took orders, and served food and drinks.

Later in 2015, Elena joined PROYECTO REFUERZA (ASOCIACIÓN KRECER) as an Assistant Teacher, supporting students with learning difficulties and providing private lessons to improve their skills. Elena also met with parents to update them on student progress.

In 2020, Elena transitioned into the field of front-end development. Elena worked as a Junior Front End developer at Upgrade hub, where they developed applications like App pokedéx, App TodoList, and App Food & Train. These applications were created using React Native and React Toolkit (Redux) and involved tasks such as creating task management systems, developing personalized meal and training plans, and building a replica of the Netflix platform.

Additionally, Elena worked as a Junior Front End developer at Mi Portfolio, where they developed a small application using React Native and functional components to showcase their workflow and introduce information about herself.

Most recently, Elena joined Sygris in 2021 as a Front-end developer.

Elena Rábano Neila has a diverse education history. In 2009 to 2011, they attended IES Ciudad Escolar, where they obtained their HBO in Geriatric care with a focus on psychiatric and social healthcare services and related professions. From 2012 to 2014, Elena attended IES Ciudad Escolar again, this time earning their MBO in Social integration, specializing in development of social services. Most recently, in 2020, they pursued a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Web Application Development at UpgradeHub. In addition to their formal education, Elena also obtained multiple certifications as a front-end developer from UpgradeHub in October 2020.
