BS Rao is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the VLSI industry. Currently serving as Co-Founder and President at Sykatiya Technologies Pvt Ltd since November 2020, BS Rao focuses on establishing a niche VLSI services organization with strengths in design validation, design for testability, physical design, and analog circuit design, while also developing embedded AI/ML and product development services. Simultaneously, BS Rao is a Co-Founder of an ultra-low power optimization startup, Engineering Low Power!, which boasts significant power and area reductions beyond standard flows. Prior roles include AVP of Design Engineering at Tessolve Semiconductor, where BS Rao led IC design engineering efforts, and Head of Semiconductors at Sasken Communication Technologies Ltd, overseeing various aspects of SoC flow and project delivery. BS Rao's career also includes positions at 1st Silicon, Portal Player Inc, and National Aerospace Laboratories, with a foundational degree in Engineering from Bangalore University.
