Swaminathan Mahadevan

Swaminathan Mahadevan is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in building systems for fraud detection and abuse prevention. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Syllable since September 2022, Mahadevan previously held similar positions at GRAIL, Inc. and Verily, and worked as a Software Engineer at Google for over a decade. With a strong foundation in machine learning techniques and their application in dynamic adversarial environments, Mahadevan started academic pursuits as a Research Assistant at McGill University, where contributions included work on probabilistic function approximation and RNA sequence clustering. Mahadevan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from McGill University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Pondicherry Engineering College.
