Tom Truong

Tom joins Syllable after 37 years as a technology leader and researcher at IBM. Most recently, Tom managed large teams of engineers and operations specialists working on code development and performance evaluation for IBM’s open technologies in the Cloud and AI amongst other things. He began his career with the IBM Research team, where he worked on projects in search, knowledge retrieval, and database systems, such as the development of the technology that was the precursor to IBM Watson Jeopardy.
