Aga Kreglewska

Aga Kreglewska is currently a Data Engineer Lead at Sylvera. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Deliveroo from October 2019 to June 2020. Key projects Aga worked on at Deliveroo include generating gridded population datasets from open data which enable a suite of modelling and reporting applications, developing and productionising a spatial site optimisation model for COVID-19 response which helped key brands to strategically re-open restaurants and achieve maximum population coverage with minimum number of sites, and building and deploying a bespoke spatial analytics tool with Mapbox GL that enabled the expansion team to determine locations of new zones and increase UK population coverage.

Aga has also worked as a Data Evangelist / Senior Data Consultant at Kubrick Group from June 2016 to October 2019. In this role, they were responsible for training junior data professionals in Tableau, Alteryx and Python, as well as delivering client solutions as a senior consultant. Key projects Aga worked on at Kubrick Group include employing Part of Speech and Named Entity Recognition NLP techniques to extract features from unstructured text, which were then fed into fire risk model for a reinsurance client, producing highly interactive dashboard for the trading desks at a global investment bank, and implementing a front end to a regression model visualising the features behinds a critical illness risk model.

Aga Kreglewska's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the Open University, a Marketing & Event Management certification from Dublin Business School, and various other certificates and certifications in GIS, mountaineering, skiing, and emergency medical response.

Aga Kreglewska reports to Nick Bateman, VP, Engineering. They are on a team with Falk Van Der Meirsch - Data Engineer, Abhishek Kumar - Machine Learning Engineer, and Victoria Foing - Junior Machine Learning Engineer.
