Allister Furey

Allister Furey is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sylvera, a company that provides software solutions that enable businesses to make data-driven decisions. Prior to Sylvera, Allister was a Venture Partner at Entrepreneur First, where they helped early-stage startups with product development, go-to-market strategy, and fundraising. Allister also worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company, where they focused on Aerospace and Energy. Additionally, Allister worked at Reaction Engines Ltd., where they led Strategy and Business Development and was part of the Exec Leadership Team. At Reaction Engines Ltd., Allister built the foundation of what is now the Applied Technology business unit and led the development of the go-to market strategy for the core pre-cooled engine technology.

Allister Furey completed a BSc Hons in Neuroscience from UCL, followed by an MSc in Climate Change from Birkbeck, University of London. Allister then completed a PhD in Computational Neuroscience and Robotics from the University of Sussex. After that, they completed an Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the London Business School. Finally, they completed an MSc (Distinction) in Evolutionary and adaptive systems (Applied Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Sussex.
