Hugo Hernandez

Hugo Hernandez has over 30 years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry. Hugo started their career in 1990 as Regional Manager at Telcel Region 4, where they were responsible for developing, controlling, and monitoring a four department budget. In 1994, they joined AT&T Mobility as Director of RF Engineering. In 2007, they moved to Powerwave Technologies as Director of Sales Engineering for North and Latin America, where they managed engineering pre-sales activities and presented Powerwave's portafolio to existing and potential customers. In 2011, they joined American Tower as Director of DAS Engineering and Operations for the International Group, where they were responsible for all aspects of DAS RF Engineering for Latin America. In 2013, they joined Crown Castle as District Manager, where they deployed indoor and outdoor DAS and Small Cells. In 2015, they joined JMA Wireless as AVP Sales, Enterprise Sales, and Director of Sales Operations. In 2018, they moved to Wireless Telecom Group (Boonton, CommAgility, Microlab & Noisecom) as Regional Sales Manager for the Central Region. In 2020, they joined Amphenol Antenna Solutions, Inc. as Regional Sales Director for the Central Region. Currently, they are Director of Sales Engineering at SYM Technology.

Hugo Hernandez received their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 1984. Hugo then went on to receive their MBA in Telecommunications Management from The University of Dallas in 2001.
