Jan Christopher Vogt

Jan Christopher Vogt has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jan Christopher started their career in 1999 as a freelance software developer, working on web projects using PHP, Python, JavaScript, and HTML. Jan Christopher gained valuable experience in development methodologies and object-orientation during this time. In 2007, they worked as a System Developer with Python at AstraZeneca R&D. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as a Software Engineer with Scala at EPFL/Typesafe, where they honed their skills in typed functional programming. In 2014, they joined SPORTS195 as a Senior Software Engineer, introducing new software generation techniques and testing techniques. Jan Christopher then moved on to x.ai in 2015, working as a Senior Backend Engineer with Scala until 2017. Currently, they are a Software Engineer with Haskell at Symbiont.

Jan Christopher Vogt attended RWTH Aachen University from 2002 to 2011, where they earned a Diplom (Master's degree) in Computer Science. In June 2010, they also obtained a Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
