Soudamini Desai

Soudamini Desai has a diverse professional background with significant experience in research and policy. Currently, Soudamini holds the position of Research Assistant at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies since September 2022. Previously, Soudamini served as a Fellow at GPODS - Global Policy, Diplomacy, and Sustainability Fellowship and led research initiatives as the Research Head at Indigenous Biodiversity Foundation. Additional roles include contributions to the editorial leadership team at European Horizons and work on ecosystem services at Rebalance Earth. Soudamini also gained experience as a Research Intern at Global Tiger Forum - India and the Public Affairs Centre, along with representation for India at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations. Soudamini holds an MSc in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics and a B.Com in Economics from JSS Shri Manjunatheswara Institute of UG & PG Studies, Dharwad.
