Jesús Murcia Serrano

Jesús Murcia Serrano has worked in various roles in the agricultural industry since 2003. In 2003, they completed a practicum in the area of crop protection at Murciana de Ensaladas SL. From 2007-2011, they worked as a Responsible for Formation at FECAMUR UNIÓN DE COOPERATIVAS AGRARIAS, where they were responsible for the preparation and justification of training grants, the implementation of training actions, and the writing of the annual Fecamur magazine. From 2011-2012, they worked as an Advisor of Farms and Responsible for Purchasing Supplies at Tana S.A., where they managed and advised citrus farms, was responsible for purchasing supplies, and provided advice on the implementation of Globalgap quality systems in agricultural farms. In 2011, they also worked as an Advisor of Farms at Agromediterránea, where they were responsible for preparing land, planting, monitoring crops, planning fertilization, providing phytosanitary treatments, predicting harvests, and coordinating workers. In 2011, they also worked as a Trainer in Agricultural Courses at DON Consultores, where they were responsible for training in Good Environmental Practices in the dessert industry. Currently, they are working as an Area Sales Manager in Murcia Sur at Symborg España y Portugal.

Jesús Murcia Serrano attended the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Agrónomo with a field of study in Hortofruticultura y jardinería. Jesús also holds a certification in formación de formadores from the Consejería de agricultura de la Región de Murcia.
