Jeff Russell

Jeff Russell has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Jeff started their career at PictureTel as an IT Support specialist from 1991 to 1993. From 1994 to 1996, they worked as a QA Software Engineer at both Wellfleet Communications and Bay Networks. Jeff then joined Nortel as a QA Manager from 1998 to 2001. At Avici Systems, they worked as a Software Engineer from 2001 to 2006. Jeff then joined Cisco Systems as a Lead Software Engineer, where they developed automation infrastructure and validation tools for network authentication and authorization policies. Jeff later became an Engineering Manager, overseeing QA engineers responsible for validating performance and testing network devices. In 2015, Jeff joined Mutualink as a QA Engineering Manager, guiding software development processes and mentoring QA engineers. Currently, they are working at Symbotic as a Manager of Software Engineering, leading multiple teams involved in automation and functional verification for a complex, scalable solution.

Jeff Russell earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of New Hampshire, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. Jeff later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration at Rivier University. In addition to their formal education, Jeff has also obtained certifications including FEMA ICS 100 from FEMA and a Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems.
