Manali Chavan

Manali Chavan is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as Director of Software Engineering at Symbotic since February 2021, Manali leads the Orchestration and Navigation efforts for a fleet of Autonomous Mobile Robots, successfully expanding the team from 15 to 46 members in just over a year to enhance R&D and performance monitoring. Prior roles include Software Engineering Manager at ENSCO Rail, where Manali built a dedicated team focused on vision systems for real-time safety alerts and oversaw the deployment of critical inspection systems. Earlier experience includes Senior Software Architect and Technical Lead at ENSCO, Inc., and Software Technical Lead at Rudolph Technologies, emphasizing machine learning and defect detection in manufacturing processes.
