Ralph Francescone

Ralph Francescone has over 35 years of work experience across various roles in software engineering and oceanography. Ralph is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Symbotic. Previously, they worked at Scribe/TIBCO as a Principal Software Engineer/Architect, where they designed and implemented new functionality for on-premise and cloud-based data integration applications. Ralph also provided initial connectivity and data transformation support for a new cloud-based application, which led to quicker delivery of solid products.

Prior to that, Ralph worked at Webhire/Kenexa as a Principal Software Engineer, where they enhanced an online human resource recruiting platform by adding features such as enhanced searching, personal views, and search by distance. Ralph also designed and implemented new functionality for an online Job applicant corporate career center.

Before that, they were employed at Allenbrook as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented components for commission services and incorporated them into the presentation layer. Ralph also designed a system for online claim submission by insurance company customers.

Ralph's early work experience includes serving as a Software Engineer at Alpha Software, where they designed and implemented middleware and enhanced UI components for various products. Ralph also worked as an Oceanographer at the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office.

Ralph Francescone completed their Bachelor's degree in Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology, studying from 1979 to 1983. Later, they pursued further education in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1985 to 1986, although they did not complete a degree at this institution.
