Yakov Troshin is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Principal Software Architect and Consultant at CloudWay Digital since April 2018, Yakov has a strong focus on building software solutions and mentoring teams on best practices. As an Enterprise Architecture Consultant and Technical Director at Symcor, Yakov leads software design for a cloud-native Open Banking initiative while fostering development team growth through coaching programs. Previous roles include Principal Software Engineer at Clearco, Team Lead at Bell, and various positions in organizations such as Amdocs and Rogers Communications, where Yakov implemented innovative solutions in cloud-native applications, microservices, and systems integration. Yakov holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management from Ryerson University and a diploma in Computer Programming & Analysis from Seneca Polytechnic.
