John Zagula

John Zagula is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate and Advisory Board Member at Creative Destruction Lab and as an Advisor at Symend, where responsibilities include leading strategic development and providing executive guidance. Since January 2018, John has been involved as an Advisor and Board Director for various executives across private, public, and nonprofit sectors. An Adjunct Instructor at the University of Washington since December 2016, John teaches entrepreneurship and related subjects. As the Managing Director and Founder of Ignition Capital, John has focused on private equity and venture capital since January 2008. Previously held positions include Managing Director at Ignition Partners and Qiming Venture Partners, along with roles on the Board of Directors for The Riveter and as a Trustee for The Northwest School. John Zagula completed a Master of Arts in International Business at The Fletcher School and has a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Marquette University.
