Bas Dros

Bas Dros is currently the Service Platform Lead Synthetic Chemistry at Symeres since November 2020. Prior to this role, Bas was the Director of Chemistry at MercachemSyncom from September 2017 to November 2020. Before that, Bas worked at Syncom BV from May 1998 to August 2017, starting as a Research Chemist and working their way up to become a Group Leader. Bas holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Groningen, obtained between 1992 and 1997, and a MSc in Organometallic Chemistry from the same university, earned between 1986 and 1992. Bas completed their secondary education at RSG Magister Alvinus Sneek from 1980 to 1986.
