Ruud Koolmees

Ruud Koolmees serves as the Head of IT Global at Symeres since January 2020, leading the transformation of locally operating IT departments into a global IT organization and ensuring streamlined processes for effective collaboration across various locations. Prior to this role, Ruud held positions as ICT Manager at Mercachem, responsible for organization-wide ICT infrastructure development and management, and as a Consultant at Batavier Software Support, providing ICT advice and system administration support. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Leader for the UCOS project at the Belastingdienst, which involved upgrading operating systems for a large number of workplaces, and various System Engineer roles focused on developing and modifying computer systems to meet client needs. Ruud's educational background includes several certifications from SAS Institute, Vlerick Business School, and NCOI Opleidingen, along with a technical degree from MTS Arnhem.
