Jennifer Sharp

Vice President - Talent Acquisition & Talent Development at Symetra

Jennifer Sharp has over 25 years of work experience. Jennifer began their career at Safeco Mutual Funds in 1994 as a Shareholder Services Manager. Jennifer then moved to Safeco Insurance, where they worked as an HR Representative from 1996 to 1998, and later as a Human Resources Manager from 1998 to 2006. In 2006, they joined Symetra and held various positions, including Relationship Manager from 2006 to 2011, Assistant Director of Relationship Management & Strategic Staffing from 2008 to 2011, and AVP of Human Resources from 2011 to the present. In May 2021, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Talent Development at Symetra.

Jennifer Sharp holds a BBA degree in Finance from the Gonzaga University - School of Business Administration. Jennifer has also obtained additional certifications in Leading L&D and Elevating Equity from the Josh Bersin Academy in 2021. In 2019, they completed the certification course "Jodi Glickman on Pitching Yourself" offered by LinkedIn, and in 2018, they completed the certification course "Sheryl Sandberg and Adam Grant on Option B: Building Resilience" also provided by LinkedIn.
