Karissa Weeks

Karissa Weeks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and ownership. Currently serving as a Senior Product Owner at Symetra since September 2020, Karissa focuses on developing APIs to enhance the user experience for customers, agents, and internal teams in the retirement annuities, life insurance, and benefits sectors. Prior to this role, Karissa spent 18 years at Expedia Group, progressing through multiple positions including Product Manager, Program Manager, and Manager of the Reporting Solutions Team, where contributions included delivering business intelligence products, managing global teams, and implementing significant change programs. Karissa holds a Master of Arts in Asian Studies from the University of Oregon, an MBA from the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Travel Industry Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
