Software Engineer II at Symetrica

Michael Forsyth's work experience begins with their role as a Lab Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2013. During this time, they operated a Field-Emission Scanning Electron microscope, practiced Cadence circuit simulation software, and presented their work to their peers.

In 2015, Forsyth joined Mercury Systems as a Technical Co-Op in the Software Engineering group. Here, they built scripts with bash, fixed bugs, updated internal software, and helped develop software boot up diagnostic tools.

From 2016 to 2017, Forsyth pursued a Masters degree at UMass Lowell while working as a Masters Student.

Since 2017, Forsyth has been employed as a Software Engineer II at Symetrica Inc. In this role, they assist in the development of industry standard products aimed at detecting and defending against radioactive isotopes.

Michael Forsyth completed their education at the Acton-Boxborough Regional High School from 2008 to 2012. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Major/Computer Science Major from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2012 to 2016. Following this, Michael continued their studies at the University of Massachusetts Lowell and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science from 2016 to 2017.
