Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith is a Senior Test Engineer at Symetrix Inc. since March 2023, with an extensive background in software development and testing acquired through roles at Microsoft and Actalent, including positions such as SDET II and SDET. Joshua has experience in firmware testing for Surface Audio and Xbox controllers. Prior to joining Symetrix, Joshua studied IT Security at Bellevue College, where a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services was earned, as well as an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Joshua's career began in the US Army as an Aircraft Electrician, complemented by military training. Education also includes time at Eastern Oregon University from 1987 to 1990.
