Ika Chang has a diverse work experience in various fields. In 2019, they worked as a Marketing Graphic Designer at SMMA. Prior to that, they held a role as a Graphic Designer at Payette from February to August 2019. In 2018, Ika worked as a Painting Project Specialist at the Harvard Art Museums for a short period from August to October. They also gained teaching experience at Boston University as a Teaching Assistant to the Graduate MFA Chair and as a Teaching Assistant for Color Theory from 2017 to 2018. Early in their career, Ika worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Twentyonehundred Productions in 2015. They also served as a Chinese Language Tutor at the Smith College Jacobson Center of Learning from 2013 to 2015.
Ika Chang earned a High School Diploma from Taipei American School in the years 2008 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Studio Art at Smith College from 2012 to 2016. Most recently, Ika completed their education at Boston University, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree specializing in Painting from 2016 to 2018.
