Marisa Fryer has a diverse work experience, with roles in engineering, research, and event planning. Marisa started their career in 2012 as a Student Projectionist at the MIT Film Office and then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015. In 2014, they became an Event Planner for the MIT Women Take the Reel Film Festival. Marisa then joined the University of Toronto, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2015 to 2017 and also worked as a Teaching Assistant during the same period. In 2017, they worked as an Independent Consultant for DeepRoot Green Infrastructure, performing data analysis and compiling reports. Most recently, Marisa joined SMMA in 2018 as a Site Civil Engineer.
Marisa Fryer's education history begins in 2011 when they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Marisa pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) and specialized in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology. Marisa completed their studies at MIT in 2015.
