Richard Yates

Richard Yates has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Richard'smost recent position is as a Communications and Content Specialist at SMMA, where they are currently employed. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Carica Media as a Senior Copywriter, creating and managing editorial calendars, writing SEO-optimized content, and publishing blog posts for clients. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, they worked as a Freelance Web Marketing Consultant for various clients, building websites, managing content and social media plans, and writing brand-distinctive copy. In 2015, Richard worked as an English Language Teacher at YES English School in Japan, where they taught English to children and adults. Before that, they briefly worked as a Content Writer at addmustard in 2014. From 2012 to 2013, they were an English Language Teacher in Hong Kong, teaching students of all ages. In 2010, Richard worked as a Trainee Reporter at Solent News and Photo Agency, where they received professional training in news reporting and sub-editing.

Richard Yates obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English & History from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 2008 to 2011.
