Melissa Gascon Moore

Melissa Gascon Moore is a psychotherapist in private practice at Symmetry Counseling since May 2019, following experience as a graduate intern at Clifton Government Relations from August 2017 to May 2019. Prior to their current role, Melissa spent a decade as a teacher at Metro Nashville Public Schools, where curriculum design and fostering positive relationships within educational settings were key responsibilities. Additionally, Melissa has held positions as an Environmental Education Coordinator with The Green Project, a Street Outreach Worker at Oasis Center, and an Environmental Educator with the Catalina Environmental Leadership Program. Academic qualifications include a Master of Social Work from the University of Tennessee, a Master’s in Elementary Education from Belmont University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Prescott College.
