Jamil Shamoon

Jamil Shamoon has extensive experience in the field of fire protection and real estate. Jamil started their career at Symons Fire Protection in 1998, starting as a helper/apprentice and progressing to roles such as installer, foreman, and finally project manager. In this position, they were responsible for estimating, managing the shop, overseeing the field crew, and scheduling installations.

After working for Symons Fire Protection for eight years, Jamil joined Architectural Graphics, Inc as a Project Manager for two years, before moving on to Symons Fire Protection again, this time as Vice President. In this role, their responsibilities included business development, generating new bid opportunities and client leads, estimating and bidding projects, contract review and approval, managing supplier and material pricing and negotiations, overseeing design and submittal of fire sprinkler plans, and providing value engineering services.

Jamil has also had experience in the real estate industry, working as a Realtor at Rose and Womble Realty and IQ Realty and Lending. In these roles, they marketed and sold client properties, negotiated on behalf of buyers, coordinated inspections, financing, and escrow for properties, and implemented marketing campaigns.

Currently, Jamil Shamoon is the President of Symons Fire Protection, Inc., where they continue to contribute their expertise in the field of fire protection.

Jamil Shamoon attended Grossmont College from 1997 to 2001, where they earned an Associate's degree in General Education/Business Management. Jamil then went on to complete a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Management at San Diego State University from 2000 to 2005.
