Birgitte Frost Tofthøj

Birgitte Frost Tofthøj has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Birgitte Frost currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at Symphogen since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as an HPLC Scientist from December 2019 to March 2022, where they were responsible for the development, validation, and transfer of analytical procedures. Birgitte Frost also served as a Project lead during their time there. Before joining FUJIFILM, Birgitte worked at LEO Pharma as a Senior Scientist from June 2018 to October 2019, where they provided stability support and assistance to the production team. From April 2015 to May 2018, they worked at Novo Nordisk as an Analytical Chemist in the QC support team, specializing in factor preparations for hemophilia patients and growth hormone analysis. Birgitte Frost was responsible for method development, validation, transfer, and intercalibration, as well as providing support to NN QC laboratories worldwide. Lundbeck from May 2009 to September 2009, Analytical Chemist at Astion Pharma A/S from February 2007 to July 2008, and Chemist at Novo Nordisk in the production department from January 2006 to January 2007. Their early experience in the industry includes working as a Research Scientist at QSI Pharma A/S from April 2002 to October 2005, focusing on the synthesis and analysis of small organic molecules and research within the field of cystic fibrosis.
