Haldis Mønsted

Haldis Mønsted has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Haldis has worked as a Laboratory Technician in the Antibody Discovery Team at Symphogen since November 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Forskningslaborant at Finsen Laboratory (Bo Porse group) from January 2015 to October 2017. From February 2006 to December 2014, they worked as a Forskningslaborant at Finsen Laboratory (Michael Ploug group), where their responsibilities included PCR, Rolling circle mutagenese, kloning, DNA oprensning med kit, transfektion af forskellige kompetente celler, fremstilling af buffer, agarose geler og håndtering af dem.

Haldis also has previous experience as a Laborantelev at Københavns Universitet from 2005 to 2006, where they were involved in research projects related to the interaction between insects and microorganisms. Prior to working in research, they gained experience in the manufacturing industry, working as a Fabriksarbejder at Reje og skaldyrsfabrik, P/F Joensen, Oyri, Færøerne from 2002 to 2003 and at Saltfiskfabrik, P/F FARITA, Haldórsvík, Færøerne from 2001 to 2002.

Haldis Mønsted attended Kambsdalur, Eysturoy, Færøerne from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a HF degree. Following this, they enrolled at EUC Vest, Esbjerg from 2003 to 2005 and completed a degree as a Laborant. No specific field of study is mentioned for either degree.
