Nadia Mirza has a diverse work experience spanning across different scientific and research roles. Starting in 2021, they worked as a Scientist-Analytical coordinator at Symphogen. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they served as a Senior R&D and Application Scientist at Fida Biosystems. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as an Application Specialist at NanoTemper Technologies. Nadia also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biostructural Research Unit, Department of Drug Design and Pharmacology, University of Copenhagen, where they focused on recombinant expression and characterization of LAG3-IG domains and their interaction mechanism with alpha-Synuclein in Parkinson's disease. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Research Fellow at Novozymes. Earlier in their career, Nadia served as a Research Associate at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, University of Copenhagen in 2014 and as a PHD Candidate at Copenhagen University from 2011 to 2014, where they focused on recombinant expression and validation of plant enzymes. Nadia also worked as a Research Assistant at the same department in 2011, primarily involved in in vitro characterization of antibodies and gene cloning for transient expression in tobacco plants. Prior to that, they gained research experience as a Master Thesis Student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2009 to 2010.
Nadia Mirza's education history starts with their obtaining a Master's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan from 1999 to 2001. Nadia then pursued further studies in Biotechnology, earning a Master's Degree from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2008 to 2010.
