Steve Lewis has an extensive work experience in the music industry. Steve began their career in 1999 as a Music Instructor at Steve Lewis Studio, Norm's Music, and Altamont School. In 2001, they became a Record Producer/Multi-Instrumentalist, producing and arranging recordings for various artists and organizations. In 2009, they worked as a Music Assistant/Publishing Intern at Dunvagen Music/Philip Glass. In 2010, they became a UX/Music Consultant at Curious Brain. In 2011, they worked as a Content Manager/Music Licensing Administrator at Qualiton Imports, Ltd. and as a Music Assistant at Richard Einhorn Productions, Inc. Steve also worked as a Licensing Representative at Keep Bouncing in 2012. In the same year, they became a Senior Manager of Video and New Media, a New Media Rights Manager, and a MicroSync Marketing Coordinator at Naxos of America. In 2014, they founded Broken Hip Records. Since 2019, they have been the Director of UGC and Video at Symphonic Distribution, exploring efficient and creative ways to grow and capitalize on existing business lines along with senior management. Steve also manages the UGC team, YouTube Channel Management and Optimization initiatives of the company, occasionally preparing webinars for clients and/or participating in client pitches as well as onboarding new clients onto the service.
Steve Lewis obtained a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies and Music Media from The University of Alabama in 1999. In December 2020, they received a YouTube Certification in Rights Management.
