Tunji Afonja

Tunji Afonja has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tunji most recently worked as a Creative Executive at Symphonic Distribution starting in July 2021. Tunji's entrepreneurial side led him to found Gx5 in 2005, where they served as the President and Chief Visionary Officer, overseeing small-scale startups and projects. At Mavin Records, where they worked from April 2014 to November 2020, Tunji held the role of Chief Digital Officer and played a key role in generating billions of streams and establishing globally recognized artists. Tunji also worked as a Consultant at UberMedia from November 2010 to November 2011. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Tunji worked as a Civil Engineer at HNTB from March 2002 to August 2005, specializing in bridge design.

Tunji Afonja attended Tulane University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
