Demir Selmanovic

Demir Selmanovic has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Demir is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at symphony.is since May 2023. Prior to this, they founded Arslan Consulting and served as its Founder and CTO from May 2018. From April 2021 to May 2023, Demir worked at Leverage as the Vice President of Engineering and Chief Architect. Before that, they held the position of Head of Content at Toptal from October 2014 to October 2018. Demir also worked at Labster as the Interim VP of Engineering (via Toptal) for a brief period in early 2016. Furthermore, Demir has experience as a Development Manager at DevLogic from 2007 to 2014, as well as a Developer at 4th Dimension from 2004 to 2007. Demir started their career as an IT Manager at BIHAMK from 2001 to 2004 and as a Developer at DSD from 1999 to 2001.

Demir Selmanovic attended Sarajevo University, Faculty of math and science from 1980 to 2012, where they studied Computer Science. During their education, they obtained a certification in Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in September 2014. No specific degree name was provided.
