Lulu Fogarty

Director Of Education at Symphony Space

Lulu Fogarty has a diverse work experience in the field of education and arts. Lulu began their career as a Teaching Artist at the People's Theatre Project in 2016 and later worked as a Teaching Artist at Urban Academy Laboratory High School from 2014 to 2020. Lulu also served as a Founding Member at 360 Repertory Theatre Company since 2014. In 2019, they worked as a Producer at the Harlem Children's Theatre Festival and as part of the conference staff at the American Alliance for Theatre and Education. Lulu also had experience as a Director at Camp Kinderland from 2017 to 2018. In 2020, they joined BEAT (Bridging Education & Art Together) as a Program Director and later held the positions of Training & Tools Director and Project Manager, where they were involved in various initiatives related to arts education and inclusion. Lulu has recently taken up the role of Director of Education at Symphony Space starting in 2022. Additionally, Lulu played a role as a Sunday School Assistant Director at Judson Memorial Church from 2008 to 2022 and as a Curriculum Production Assistant at Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility from 2000 to 2020.

Lulu Fogarty completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting at Syracuse University from 2004 to 2008. In 2013, they participated in the International Chinese Language Program at National Taiwan University. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Education with a specialization in Educational Theatre at The City College of New York from 2018 to 2020.
