Jon A. Emswiler

Jon A. Emswiler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jon A. currently serves as a Senior Account Manager at Symphony, where they have been since April 2022. Prior to this role, they were involved in business development at Symphony starting in September 2021. Jon A. also worked at StreetLinx (part of Symphony) in a business development capacity from September 2019.

Before joining Symphony, Jon held the position of Managing Director, Investment Banking at B. Riley Financial from February 2017 to December 2017. During their tenure, they focused on capital raising, committee representation, and liability management, while also building and maintaining relationships with prospects, clients, and investors.

From April 2009 to 2016, Jon worked as a Managing Director, High Yield / Distressed Debt Credit Sales at Imperial Capital, LLC | Stifel Financial Corp. | Caprok Capital. In this role, they established an institutional client business in high yield, distressed debt, and post-reorganized equities. Jon A. conducted research, presented trade and capital market ideas to corporations and investors, and sourced large portfolios of securities for sale from financially distressed entities.

Jon's earlier roles include serving as a Director at UBS Investment Bank from 2006 to 2008, a Director at Zolfo Cooper from 2002 to 2006, and a Manager at Arthur Andersen from 1998 to 2002.

Jon A. Emswiler completed their MBA in Finance, General at Fordham University from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1993, they pursued their BBA in Accounting and Finance at Roanoke College.
