Rauf Yagfarov

Rauf Yagfarov is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at ReTech Labs, Inc., since March 2021, with a strong background in computer vision and robotics. Previously, Rauf served as a Team Leader and Senior Computer Vision Researcher/Developer at АО НИИАС from July 2020 to September 2021, and as a Computer Vision Researcher and Developer at Innopolis University from October 2017 to March 2021. During this period, Rauf contributed to projects related to self-driving cars and anthropomorphic robots, focusing on object detection, sensor fusion, navigation systems, and speech recognition. Rauf has also held the position of Teaching Assistant, specializing in computer vision, machine learning, sensors, and physics. Earlier experience includes a role as a Computer Vision Research and Development Engineer at TRY.FIT, where Rauf developed a mobile solution for creating 3D foot models. Rauf holds a Master's degree in Robotics and AI from Innopolis University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Kazan State University.
