Shashi Kusuma M.D.

Shashi Kusuma M.D. has been in the medical field since 2006, when they began working as an Attending Surgeon in Plastic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic. In 2010, they founded and became the Director of Suria Plastic Surgery P.L. In 2013, they founded Symplast and held the roles of Founder, Chairman, Chief Innovation Officer and CEO. In 2018, they founded Suria Plastic Surgery and Medspa, where they are the Founder and Medical Director, and they also founded Suria Cryo and Wellness, where they are the Founder and Medical Director. Shashi is currently the Founder, Chairman of the Board, and Chief Innovation Officer at Symplast.

Shashi Kusuma M.D. obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Emory University - Goizueta Business School in the field of Business Administration, Management and Operations between 1990 and 1992. Shashi then obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Medical Careers in the field of Medicine between 1994 and 1998. Following this, they completed an Otolaryngology Residency Program at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine between 1998 and 2004 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Shashi then completed a Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the Cleveland Clinic between 2004 and 2006 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Shashi also holds certifications from the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
