Melissa Hoyos

Melissa Hoyos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in internal communications and employee engagement. Currently serving as VP, Internal Communications & Team Member Engagement at symplr since December 2020, Melissa has previously held titles such as Senior Director and Director of Corporate Communications in the same organization. Prior to this role, Melissa was Senior Manager of Internal Communications at Segment and Senior Global Communications Manager at Quest Software, where responsibilities included executive and employee communications for a global workforce. Additional experience includes positions at SAP Concur, Vertafore, Amazon, KidZania S.A. de C.V., City University of Seattle, Sun-Sentinel, and Tri-City Herald, covering a range of communications roles in both corporate and media settings. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communication from Seattle University and has developed a career centered on effective messaging and engagement strategies across diverse audiences.
