Jens Roeder

Jens Roeder is an experienced food industry professional currently serving as Master Application Technologist and Head of Application Team Culinary at Symrise AG since February 2015. In this role, Jens leads a team of seven application technologists and chefs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously, Jens held the position of Head of Research and Development at Zamek Nahrungsmittel GmbH, where responsibilities included new product development for dry savory products and managing a team of twelve. Prior experience includes working as a Process Technologist at Unilever Deutschland GmbH, where Jens managed various food solution projects and served as a raw material expert. Jens holds a degree in Ernährungs- und Hygienetechnik with a focus on Qualitätsmanagement from Albstadt-Sigmaringen University and has undergone culinary training as a Chef and in food technology.
