Philip Kraft

Philip Kraft has a diverse work experience in the field of fragrance synthesis and odorant design. Philip is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Symrise AG since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer at Georg August University of Göttingen starting from September 2021. From 2010 to 2022, they held a Lecturer position at ETH Zürich. Philip also has extensive experience at Givaudan, where they served in various roles including Research Fellow, Group Leader, Senior Research Investigator, Laboratory Manager, and Laboratory Head. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at the University of Bern from 2008 to 2021 and at the University of Zurich from 2009 to 2010.

Philip Kraft completed their education at Kiel University. Philip obtained a Dipl.-Chem. degree in Chemistry in 1994 and then further pursued their studies in Organic Chemistry, completing their Dr. rer. nat. degree in 1996.
