Savita Farooqui

Savita Farooqui has worked in the technology field for over 25 years. Savita is currently Co-Lead of the Global COVID Certificate Network (GCCN) Trust Registry Network at the Linux Foundation Public Health (LFPH) since 2021. Savita is also a Member and Contributor of the Trust Over IP Foundation since 2021. In 2020, they became a Member and Contributor of the IEEE P2145 Blockchain Governance Standards Working Group, and Chair of the P2145 Blockchain Governance Standards Group, Governance Framework Sub Working Group and Chair of the P2145 Blockchain Interoperability Governance Sub Working Group. Prior to this, they were President of SymSoft Solutions from 2006, Director of Operations at NIC Conquest from 2004, Director of Development at NIC Inc. from 2000, and Director of Offshore Development at Utah Interactive from 2001. Savita began their career in 1995 as an Associate Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services.

Savita Farooqui obtained their M.S. in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal between 1990 and 1992.
