Derek McNeill

Derek McNeill is a seasoned professional in music licensing and supervision with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Country Manager for the U.S. at Syn Music since March 2021, Derek has previously held roles such as Music Licensing Consultant at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where responsibilities included managing sync licensing for documentaries, and Music Supervisor for projects like the Webby Award-nominated Handwash Jukebox and the feature documentary "A Decent Home." Additional experience includes managing contract systems at Granity Studios, overseeing music supervision for "The New Bauhaus," and directing content operations at Zed, among other roles in licensing and operations at FunMobility Inc. and InfoSpace. Derek holds an A.A. in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Orange Coast College and has furthered education at the University of Southern California.
