Borys Deriy

Borys Deriy has extensive work experience, starting in 2001 as a Software Developer/Tester at Uninet. Borys then worked as a Trainee at Bank of Montreal through a co-op program in 2007. Following that, they served as an IT Projects Analyst at Techinvest and QA Analyst/Business Analyst at InterExpertService. In 2011, Borys became a Manual/Automation QA Specialist at Prominvestbank before moving on to be a QA Engineer at Ciklum, Playtech project in 2012. Borys then joined SOTI Inc. as a QA Specialist before moving on to Synacor as a QA Engineer and later as a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

Borys Deriy's education history starts with their enrollment at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv from 1998 to 2003. Borys pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in R&D, specializing in Physics of Semiconductors, Electronics and Telecommunications engineering, as well as Programing & Coding.

Following their degree, from 2004 to 2004, Borys attended the CISCO Network Academy, where they obtained a CCNA certification in Computer networking.

Continuing their educational journey, Borys studied at MacEwan University from 2005 to 2007. Borys earned a Diploma in Business Management.

In terms of additional certifications, Borys achieved the Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) from ISTQB in April 2012.
