Edward Allfrey

Edward Allfrey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles in the technology and media industry. Edward currently holds the position of Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Video Networks at Synamedia, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they were the VP EMEA Sales for Video Networks at the same company from 2020 to 2022.

Before joining Synamedia, Allfrey worked at MediaKind Global as the Head of Sales for Broadcasters, DTH & Channels in the EMEA region from 2019 to 2020. Edward also had an extensive tenure at Ericsson, where they served as the Global Head of Media Sales from 2012 to 2019 and as the VP of Software Solutions from 2009 to 2012.

Earlier in their career, Allfrey held roles at TANDBERG Television as the Business Development Director for Cable from 2007 to 2010, and as a Cable Architect from 2005 to 2007. Edward also worked at Telewest Broadband as the Manager of Technical Strategy from 2001 to 2005, and at NTL as a CA Manager from 1999 to 2001.

Edward Allfrey attended the University of Exeter from 1992 to 1996, where they received a MENG 2i degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
